Cleaning & Sterilising Feeding Equipment

Cleaning & Sterilising Feeding Equipment

Good hygiene reduces risk—especially when caring for vulnerable animals. Build a routine you can repeat daily.

A simple routine that works

  • Rinse immediately after use.
  • Wash with warm soapy water using a brush.
  • Rinse thoroughly (soap residue can be an issue).
  • Allow to air dry completely in a clean space.
  • Store dry items in a sealed container.

Check for wear

Replace teats if you notice:

  • cracks, thinning, sticky texture
  • stretched tips or changed flow
  • lingering odours
